
What if I need to discuss a case before referring?
Please call a Patient Advisor on 01743 34 34 33 who will be
happy to direct your call to the appropriate person. You
are welcome to attend our regular study groups which will
give you an opportunity to discuss cases with us and other
referring
Dentists.
How would it work if I would like to carry out some
treatment generally?
If you wish to work to a treatment plan or have an opinion
this is not normally a problem. Some of our referring Dentists
get a treatment plan and do the work themselves but refer
the
more
complex cases
Do I need to send radiographs?
Yes please, if you have them, however we may need to take
further x-rays ourselves.
Do you review patients?
If this is part of their treatment plan yes as part of our
relationship with you, the Clinic Coordinator would keep
you informed. If a problem occurs with the treatment of
your patient we would
see them as soon as possible.
How long would my patient have to wait for an appointment?
We aim to see your patient within 7-10 working days; sometimes
this is sooner or slightly longer during holiday periods.
Our clinicians are expanding their appointment books to cope
with
demand.
Can I attend the treatment appointments with my patient?
We can usually accommodate most requests. Please indicate
this on your referral letter or our form.
Can I refer for an opinion
only?
Certainly, but please make this clear on the referral form.
