introduction

Who can benefit from dental implants?

If you can answer yes to any of the following questions then we can help you:

  • Are you embarrassed by a gap or gaps caused by missing teeth?
  • Do you find it difficult to chew due to missing teeth?
  • Do you struggle getting on with your dentures?
  • Are you continually embarrassed by awkward moments caused by your dentures moving or dropping?
  • Are you tired of using messy adhesives to hold your dentures in place?
  • Are you irritated by sore gums caused by dentures?

How long does whitening take?
This will vary from patient to patient and will be addressed in the consultation. As a guide, for a full smile we should be able to complete treatment in just over an hour. A consultation will give you a more accurate guide.

How much does whitening cost?
Again this depends on whether it may be just one tooth that is discoloured or your full smile, but typically costs range from £350 for standard whitening to £695 for power bleaching.

Does whitening hurt?
A few patients find wearing a mouth retractor slightly uncomfortable. Our patients have said that the results are worth the short time of possible slight discomfort. Some patients, on the other hand, have felt so relaxed they wanted to drop off to sleep!

How can I pay for treatments?
We accept cash, credit cards, debit cards and cheques. For larger treatment plans we have interest-free credit options. Full terms and conditions of business will be explained by our team of Patient Advisors.

How long does orthodontic treatment take?
Orthodontic treatment can take up to 2 years (occasionally longer) to complete. You will need to come in every 6-8 weeks to have the brace adjusted, then you will have to wear a retaining brace to stop your teeth from moving back!

How much do orthodontic braces cost?
Typically initial consultation with a specialist is £300 including x-rays, study models and treatment plan. Complete courses of treatment including all appointments, appliances and retainers range from £2,750 for children and £2900-£3,900 for adults. NB If you take up the treatment plan within four months of the consultation, £150 will be credited to your account.

If you have any other queries our Patient Advisors will be happy to help.
