In our relaxed and comfortable surroundings we take time to explain about the care you will receive and get to know you in order to design a treatment plan to suit your specific needs.

1. New general dental consultation
   On your first visit to us we take the time to get to know each other and understand your expectations and your priorities for your oral health. Once we have listened to your concerns and needs we will undertake a thorough clinical examination including screening for oral cancer, jaw problems and an explanation of your very own oral health score.
   You will leave us with the confidence that your future oral health needs are in safe, professional hands that can provide the results that you are looking for.
   
2. Routine examinations
   Giving you an update on your oral health score and to discuss any preventative action or treatment required.
   
3. Gum treatments (or periodontal treatment)
   Periodontal disease affects the gum and is the main reason for premature tooth loss. Our advanced hygienist therapy is up-to-date with best practice and specialist thinking.
   
4. Fresh breath programme
   Our team of Hygienists provide this service showing how we can all maintain healthy teeth and gums through basic oral hygiene measures – with tips and demos of how to make it an easy and enjoyable part of your daily routine.
   
5. Tooth fillings
   We use safe, quality fillings which also enhance your smile.
   
6. Digital Radiographs (x-rays)
   Using the latest digital diagnostic x-ray equipment we get a full understanding of the condition of your whole mouth and can identify the best treatment plan for your needs.

8. Root canal treatment
   Removing damaged or dead nerves and filling the space left, allowing the remaining tooth to be repaired and avoiding the severe toothache nerve damage can cause.
   
9. Dentures
   If we are unable to save a tooth, we provide the best quality dentures for comfort and appearance. Where appropriate, we also offer dental implants which may be your preferred solution.
   
10. Sports gum shields
    Ensuring smiles are properly protected we offer custom made sports gum shields, available in a variety of colours and designs.

B. COSMETIC DENTISTRY

No longer do you have to be embarrassed by stained, crooked or chipped teeth – we offer comprehensive solutions to give a smile to be proud of.

All our dentists are members of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (BACD) which helps to promote clinical excellence through continuing professional development.

1. Diode laser enhanced tooth whitening
   We are the only dentists in Shropshire to use lasers in dentistry.
   Healthy teeth that have yellowed with age or stained from tea, coffee, red wine or smoking will usually respond well to our power whitening system which is a combination of home bleaching followed by laser bleaching.
   
2. Porcelain veneers
   Strong, long lasting thin layers of tooth coloured material applied to the front of the tooth to improve its appearance.
   
3. Porcelain crowns
   Our long lasting, natural looking crowns are made of porcelain and help lengthen the life of a natural tooth, without leaving black lines which are associated with traditional treatments.
   
4. Bridgework
   Using the best natural looking materials, our bridges replace a missing tooth or teeth by fixing the replacement to the natural teeth either side of the gap, improving the look of the teeth, the ‘bite’ and even speech. Mr Mo Sandhar, our resident Prosthodontist, practices advanced complex crown and bridgework as well as denture cases.
   
5. Dental implants
   A modern alternative to dentures and bridges. Replacement teeth are secured into the gum to give the comfort, convenience and pleasing appearance of natural teeth. 6. Tooth straightening
   With nearly 50 years of experience between the clinical team, we have a proven track record of creating beautiful smiles. Mr John Chadwick, our resident Consultant Orthodontist, takes private referrals for orthodontics including Invisalign. Invisalign is a modern tooth straightening procedure (effectively an ‘invisible’ brace). Only certified clincians can provide this treatment.
   
7. Gum reshaping
   If you have a low or uneven gum level we can use a laser to correct this. If you have a 'gummy' smile a painless gum lift can be offered.
   
8. Cosmetic contouring
   A quick and simple procedure to tidy up your smile by reshaping pointy teeth, smoothing minor chips and redefine teeth that have worn flat.
   
9. Cosmetic bonding
   Bonding is a process in which enamel-like material is applied to your tooth’s surface. It can be used to restore minor chips and close small gaps, often this can be completed in one appointment.
