Dr Emma Preston (BDS)

Qualified in Bristol in 1996 left in 1997 and worked for 3 years in London before working as a flying dentist in South Australia.

Dr Preston has also taken sabbaticals to do voluntary work in Romania and the townships of South Africa. She is now settled back in her home county of Shropshire. She joined the DENTAL SPA when it was first launched in 2003, keen to be involved with a practice with high clinical standards and with prevention at the heart of the practice philosophy.

Dr Preston has a special interest in cosmetic dentistry and is a member of The British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.

She has completed many `smile make over's' and enjoys seeing the transformation it has on the patients `confidence to smile'. She visits many cosmetic dental conferences and enjoys continually updating her skills.

Dr Preston has also been a facial aesthetics practitioner for eight years (Botox® and Dermal Fillers). She enjoys subtly reducing lines and wrinkles, lifting cheeks, reducing facial folds and improving skin texture. These skills work very well in conjunction with her dental skills.

Dr Preston loves to treat patients of all ages and prides herself on helping very nervous patients. She truly believes that a visit to the dentist need not be an ordeal these days. Her teams' care and the relaxing environment help the patients deal with their fears.

Dr Preston lives in Shrewsbury with her husband and two little girls. She loves the surrounding countryside and enjoys gardening, art, literature, antiques, theatre and wine!
