Dr Gary Pitkin (BDS LDSRCS)

Dr Pitkin qualified from Kings College Dental Hospital in London with a Bachelor of Dental Science degree in 1976.The following year he became a Licentiate of the Royal College of Surgeons of England. After 2 years work in Bromley, Kent, Dr Pitkin moved to the south coast where he purchased a large practice and worked there until early 2006 when he decided rural Shropshire was more appealing than urban life!

Dr Pitkin achieved his Excel Accreditation on his first inspection at The Dental Spa and is also a full member of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.  He is a certified implantologist with over 10 years experience and is trained in placing facial fillers as well as Botox treatments.  He has a special interest in providing dentistry that survives long term. 

Dr Pitkin is married to Julia, a dementia care specialist and trainer, and says they are now responsible for 3 alpacas, 2 horses, 3 dogs, 2 cats, 2 tortoises,  an ever increasing number of pet rabbits, goats and sheep on the way, and oh yes ... 3 fabulous children.
