Mo Sandhar, BDS, MFGDP (UK), MFDS, RCSEd, MSc (Prosthodontics)

Mo Sandhar has extensive experience and special interest in restorative reconstructive dentistry. He has advanced professional training and knowledge in replacing, restoring and maintaining teeth.

He is particularly highly qualified in the provision of dental implants, complex cosmetic crowns and bridges, and state of the art dentures. He has undergone extensive postgraduate training at the highly regarded Manchester Dental Hospital, where he achieved a Master's degree in Prosthodontics (the field of replacing missing teeth and restoring worn down teeth) with a distinction.

He has held lecture posts at both Manchester and Birmingham Dental Schools and has given many lectures to his professional colleagues by popular demand. He has also been on the examiners board for the Royal College of Surgeons of England. In this role he has been a leading educator and quality assurance controller of dentistry education and dental practice. Mr Sandhar's experience of running his own general practice for several years means he very much understands that attending the dentist can be an anxious affair and has a caring holistic approach to his patients.

He is married to Suki, also a dentist, and they have three children. Outside of dentistry he enjoys visiting National Trust Heritage Sites, running (having completed a half marathon), cycling and swimming.

Mr Sandhar said:

"Every person is different and has different needs and expectations. I believe it is imperative to spend time gaining a gull history from the patients, and furthermore getting to know them personally. Dentistry has advanced extensively and many techniques are available to achieve a good aesthetic and functional outcome unique to the patient. Seeing the end result and patient's delight at the transformation through our work is undoubtedly what drives my love for dentistry."
