Tracey Head (RN DipHE) - Aesthetic & Laser Nurse Practitioner

When Tracey worked as a nursing sister in the Dental unit of North Cumbria Infirmary little did she know that ultimately her career would lead to working in a dental practice! Her management and nursing experience and skills are essential to the very important role in The Skin Clinic as most of Tracey’s day is taken up with diagnosing and treating patients and keeping their records accurately and that doesn’t take into account the caring aspect of her work which of course is paramount with some treatments being of a most intimate nature.

Tracey relocated to Shropshire due to the demands of her husband’s medical career as a Registrar in Paediatrics. Once Tracey had her third baby she decided she needed another challenge. Having visited the practice as a patient she was so pleased with the care she and her family received, Tracey jumped at the opportunity to join The Skin Clinic team as an Aesthetic & Laser Nurse Practitioner. Tracey trained in laser and light based therapies at Mapperley Park where her colleague Wendy also trained and has already made herself ‘part of the furniture’ because she is such a team player and kind hearted.

Tracey says’ I am already utilising my skills in facial disfigurement surgery to good effect in helping my clients improve their body image and self esteem. I feel very proud to be part of something as special as The Dental Spa and The Skin Clinic.’

Tracey is very sporty and a particularly good tennis player having played at County level. As well as her three beautiful girls and her husband to keep her busy, she loves to throw dinner parties and has a keen interest in interior design.
